PURPOSE

To maintain and manage all control & automation systems including software and hardware throughout site to achieve engineering objectives in line with Group standards, safety guidelines and work instructions.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To perform routine diagnostic checks on automated systems, monitor them and isolate problems
  • To repair and debug control devices to avoid production loss, as well as create documentation based on the schematics and wiring plans for each device
  • To follow electrical regulations and inspect controllers to ensure code compliance
  • To troubleshoot PLC, Industrial Control systems and relay control circuits
  • To support shift technicians in fault diagnosis and rectification of control system faults & failures
  • To assist in the implementation of control systems for new processes & equipment
  • To participate in emergency on-call duty on a rotational basis
  • To ensure a high level of housekeeping of the working area is maintained throughout the shift
  • To ensure health & safety rules are adhered to

STUDIES: Engineering - electronical profile, automation or similar; 

EXPERIENCE: Both experienced and fresh graduates are welcome to apply 

LANGUAGES: fluent English level 

PC LITERACY: Microsoft Office and other industrial automation programs 

Ability to communicate, eagerness to learn, result oriented and team worker 

Available to work in 3 shifts - in order to ensure the technical support for each working shift.
