MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The role is critical for the factory to maintain high efficiency on the production lines by managing all control & automation systems including software and hardware throughout the production site in line with Group standards, safety guidelines and work instructions.

  • Leading automation improvement projects, ensuring the technical quality and cost-effectiveness of automation solutions implemented in the site;
  • Overseeing a team of automation technicians and engineers and coordinating with other departments
  • Creating the schedule of maintenance activities by priority level to minimize downtime and interruptions.
  • Providing technical support for automation systems and training staff on their use.
  • Working with teams to identify and resolve issues with robotic and computer systems.
  • Coordinating  the implementation of control systems for new processes & equipments;
  • Ensuring the compliance to the health & safety and emergency situations regulations.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in an automation, electrical, or maintenance role, including prior experience supervising technical staff.
  • Education: A bachelor's degree or diploma in a related technical field, such as Electrical, Mechanical, or Automation Engineering.
  • Technical expertise: Hands-on experience with PLC programming and SCADA configuration
  • Leadership: Strong leadership abilities, along with excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Soft skills: Adaptability and ability to work under pressure managing multiple projects
