PURPOSE

To manage the distribution logistics process in the country of reference in order to guarantee optimised costs, improved level of service and control of the incoming and outgoing product flows from the relative Plants in compliance with the Group's procedures, product’s safety and ISO 9001 standards.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Guarantees management of negotiations with logistics suppliers and the search for new suppliers in order to optimise the relative costs
  • Guarantees the procurement flow organisation of transport services in order to deliver the goods according to the assigned objectives
  • Manages relations with the suppliers of distribution logistics services and with the customer logistics departments
  • Guarantees the implementation of the supplier pre-qualification flow and systematic assessment of qualitative and quantitative reliability
  • Guarantees the procurement of pallets and their proper administration in compliance with the Group's procedures
  • Manages the flows of materials from storage of the raw materials in different production sites to the delivery of the finished products to the customers, optimising the costs according to the service required
  • Guarantees operational organisation in the warehouses in compliance with safety regulations and the Group's procedures

  • Manages the external warehouses so as to guarantee cost optimisation and compliance with the Group's standards
  • Proposes innovative solutions so as to guarantee constant improvement in the distribution logistics process
  • Drafts the budget proposal of the distribution logistics costs and guarantees to monitor them in order to comply with the defined targets
  • Assists the company departments with distribution logistics issues
  • Interfaces with the country's organisational positions to solve any issues raised
  • Guarantees the proper application of the Group's procedures in the country of reference
  • Responsible for the integration, professional growth, development and motivation of the collaborators

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical or Economic field
  • +5 years experience in management positions in logistics or supply chain, ideally in a production environment;
  • Consistent knowledge in warehouse, transportation, inventory management;
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skills;
  • Competent in budgeting and estimation of logistics costs taking in consideration overall business operations;
  • Proficient in SAP and MS office;
  • Capable of managing and motivating the team;
  • Fluent English is mandatory.
