PURPOSE
Managing the maintenance of electrical systems and equipment, coordinating electrical staff and contractors, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget, troubleshooting electrical issues, managing preventive maintenance, and collaborating with other departments to maintain infrastructure and equipment.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Planning and implementing electrical projects, including developing budgets, preparing technical documents, and coordinating the work of internal teams and external subcontractors.
Supervising and directing the electrical team, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring safety standards are met.
Scheduling and overseeing preventive maintenance for electrical systems and equipment, performing detailed fault analysis, and troubleshooting equipment failures.
Reviewing project scope and design specifications, providing technical guidance, and ensuring compliance with technical standards and codes.
Serving as a point of contact for various stakeholders, including clients, staff, and other department managers, and preparing relevant reports.
Managing workshop equipment, tools, and spare parts required for electrical maintenance and projects.
The profile:
- Experience: A minimum of 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in an electrical or automation maintenance role, including prior experience supervising technical staff.
- Technical and practical knowledge of machinery/equipment in an industrial environement;
- Education: A bachelor's degree or diploma in a related technical field, such as Electrical or Automation Engineering;
- Technical expertise: Expertise in electrical engineering, power plant systems, electrical maintenance, and relevant software like Auto Cad or SCADA;
- Leadership: Strong leadership abilities, along with excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills;
- Soft skills: Adaptability and ability to work under pressure managing multiple projects.
