PURPOSE
To arrange the vehicles for transportation so that the goods are delivered according to the service standards required and to prepare the transport documents for all outbound products from the site following the Group's procedures.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Organizes the booking of transport vehicles in order to deliver the merchandise to all areas of interest, in accordance with the assigned aims in terms of cost-effectiveness and service level
- Checks the invoices from logistic suppliers regularly and manage credit and debit notes.
- Helps the line manager negotiate with logistic suppliers according to the Group Logistics Director's guidelines.
- Assists the line manager evaluate the quality of the transporters' service. Follow the group policies and procedures correctly for relevant processes
- Issues the transport documents and relative travel documents for all outgoing goods from the site
- Files all documents handled
- Creates the loading list, when possible
- Liaises with other departments if there are problems on the sales order of goods for delivery.
- Checks if the weight of the shipped product matches the system value
- Supports the corporate depts. requiring assistance on topics of distribution logistic
- Reports any problems to the line manager
- Promotes a safety-related corporate culture
- Applies the Corporate Principles and Values

- Bachelor/Master's Degree in Business Administration, Economical Engineering or similar;
- Proven experience in transportation or logistics management.
- Knowledge of transport regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
- Capability to work under pressure and adapt to changing scenarios.
- Fluency in English/Italian;
- Proficient in MS Office, other specific platforms would be a plus;
