Maintenance Planner

Position Overview

Sofidel America of Inola is currently seeking a Maintenance Planner. We are searching for a dynamic candidate local to the area who is looking for a long-term role in a stable, thriving environment. Your expertise will make you an important part of our team!

The Maintenance Planner reports directly to the Maintenance Manager. This individual acts as a liaison between the operations and maintenance departments and is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating all maintenance work performed within the facility. The planner is responsible for maintaining records and files essential to meaningful analysis and reporting maintenance-related matters to the Maintenance Manager.

Job Responsibilities

• Act as the point of contact and liaison between the maintenance, operations, and other designated departments.
• Create maintenance schedules, maintain parts inventory, and work closely with maintenance staff, contractors, and outside vendors.
• Responsible for completing regular analysis of backlogs related to available resources to adequately plan for short-term and long-term goals.
• Provide overall plans for supervisors to assist with pre-planning strategies for day-to-day and future work plans.
• Identify root causes and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Monitor CMMS reports.
• Promote a safety-bound corporate culture and apply the Corporate Principles and Values.

Job Requirements

• A high school diploma or a GED with at least 5 years of applicable experience is required.
• Must possess basic computer skills – Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task, as well as worknindependently.
• Must have the ability to work under time pressure and meet deadlines.
