PURPOSE

To manage the purchasing process of the various categories of goods for the Plant of reference, with the aim of increasing the generation of value and creating new business-financial opportunities for the Plant of reference, in accordance with the corporate strategies, guidelines and procedures.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage the activities related to the purchase of the plant goods and services
In coordination with the Group Purchase Dept, guarantee the compliance with the policies and procedures
Constantly seek new supply opportunities
In coordination with the productive, maintenance and logistics areas, assess the best technical characteristics of products/services to seek and define the supply techical documents
Support the production and maintenance areas in the pursuing of industrial activities aims
Manage relationships with suppliers
Negotiate prices and purchasing conditions in accordance with the Group policies
Collaborate with the Accounting Office for problems in the purchase invoicing
Guarantee a correct management of the Spare Parts Warehouse
Responsible for the collaborators’ integration, professional growth, valorisation and motivation
Promote a safety-bound corporate culture
Promote the Corporate Principles and Values

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE APPLICATION

Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage complex supplier relationships
Previous experience in an industrial environment
Good command of the English language, both written and spoken
SAP knowledge is considered a plus
