PURPOSE
To manage the network infrastructure and provide IT support to the relevant users in compliance with data protection, data security and Group policies and procedures.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides technical support to users via email, phone and Help-Desk portal
- Manages the workstations and the necessary hardware peripherals
- Monitors hardware functionality and takes action where necessary
- Manages software installation and set up on computers according to the specifications given
- Trains end users on how to use new software and IT equipment
- Organises and schedules updates and maintenance with users
- Maintains repair and correction records
- Identifies deficiencies in network peripherals and equipment
- Identifies and suggests possible improvements to procedures
- Contributes to satisfying the continuing need for IT innovation and development
- Acts in compliance with Data Protection in line with current legislation and corporate policies
- Promotes a corporate culture based on safety

- Minimum 3 years of experience as a system administrator
- At least secondary education
- English language skills, written and spoken (must be used daily)
- Good communication and problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently
- Understand business processes, be systematic and structured in your daily work
- Experience of working with ERP systems, preferably SAP ECC or SAP 4/HANA
- Advanced knowledge of network architectures, topologies and protocols (routing and switching)
- Experience in managing virtualised server environments based on VMWare products
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows server and client operating systems
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services and Office 365
