Finished Goods Warehouse Coordinator

Position Overview
Perform duties to coordinate and support the Las Vegas Blvd E Commerce warehouse and customers. This position maintains all inventory related functions in the E Commerce Warehouse, and is exposed to many aspects such as requesting finished goods, managing inventory, determining pick sequences, assigning tasks and ensuring accurate completion of daily work assignments up and including shipping of product. Continuously supports Sofidel’s Employee Personal Practice Policy. Prior experience in an E-commerce environment would be a plus.
Job Responsibilities
- Supports Sofidel America’s Good Manufacturing Practices and HACCP to promote a safe, sanitary and hygienically sound workplace.
- Maintain accurate records of all the inventory and stock in the defined E Commerce warehouse.
- Authenticate the goods in the received shipments and maintain record of all discrepancies.
- Ensure order pickers are working to pre-defined levels of production. Praise and council as needed.
- Ensure accurate shipping label creation and tendering of goods to selected freight provider.
- Coordinate work assignments based on picking sequence to maximize efficiency of order pickers.
- Meet or exceed daily production goals of cartons shipped.
- Operating company ERP software, system and procedures.
- Perform monthly inventory counts for Warehouse Manager.
- Ensure uptime of all equipment; material handling, label printers, scanners, etc.
- Ensure the proper handling and storage of goods and supplies.
- Follow all safety regulations and legal documentation norms pertaining to warehousing.
- Create, generate and distribute defined reporting on area efficiency and customer fulfillment activities.
- Provides back-up and support to other areas as requested.
Other duties may include:
- Perform or assist with any operations, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements. Notify supervision of unusual equipment or operating problems and the need for additional material and supplies.
- Maintain safe work area and comply with safety procedures and equipment operating rules keeping work area in a clean and orderly condition.
- Participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Education/Experience:
Associates Degree or High School Diploma with minimum of two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be proficient with Excel and Exposure to SAP or MRP system preferred.
Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, shipping/warehouse and inventory requirements, operating and maintenance instructions, and quality and procedure manuals. Communication skills essential.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Work Environment
Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required when in the plant and warehouse areas. PPE will include safety shoes, eye and ear protection, reflective vests and hairnets or hats along with any other necessary protection. Temperatures in the plant/warehouse can range a great deal from season to season. The employee will be exposed to considerable paper dust and employees will also be exposed to noise levels that will require hearing protection.
