Finished Goods Warehouse Shift Supervisor/ Finished Goods Warehouse Supervisor/Warehouse Manager

PURPOSE

We are looking for the skilled Forklift Drivers who have a valid FLT or PPT licence. The FLT Driver vacancy is located in Rothley, which is one of the Sofidels’ UK site. It’s a continuous growing environment with a total of 145 employees covering production, maintenance and supply chain. 

There are shift available for this role is Monday - Friday 10am - 6pm

 

The successful candidate will work within a fast - paced warehouse environment and will report to a shift supervisor. You will be responsible for finished goods storage and loading preparation in compliance with working instructions, safety guideline, product’s safety and ISO 9001 standards. Your duties will include preparation of the loading area in compliance with loading schedule documentation. Identifying and reporting faulty goods or quality deficiencies along with ensuring all required documentation is accurately completed. 
Health and Safety rules are strictly followed across all sites. As a team member, you will be responsible for keeping yourself and your workplace safe by following Sofidel’s safety procedures and standards. 

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

•    Perform daily equipment checks and report any faults
•    Maintain the equipment guaranteeing the daily functioning in line with the work instructions
•    Guarantee the warehouse space optimization
•    Work closely and in cooperation with the rest of the Day Services and Shift teams
•    Carry out any other reasonable request and support the colleagues in case of need
•    To ensure a high level of housekeeping of the working area is maintained throughout the shift
•    Move pallets around the facility and stoke them in the correct storage bay
•    Prepare the loading area in compliance with loading schedule & documentation 
•    Identify and report any product damage or quality deficiencies
•    Load trucks if required
•    Ensure all required documentation is accurately completed
•    Operate forklift trucks and other material handling equipment
