What's the role?

Sofidel UK are currently recruiting for a manual loader to join our team in Rothley, Leicester. This role is permanent and full time (37.5 hours per week) working Monday to Friday 08:00-16:00.

A Manual Loader plays a vital role in keeping Sofidel UK’s operations running smoothly and efficiently. This position is essential in ensuring that products are handled with care, loaded accurately, and prepared for timely distribution to our customers. By maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and attention to detail, Manual Loaders help protect the integrity of our products and support the continuous flow of our manufacturing and logistics processes. Their contribution directly impacts customer satisfaction and the overall success of Sofidel UK’s commitment to reliability, sustainability, and operational excellence.

PURPOSE

To guarantee finished goods loading in compliance with work instructions and safety guideline.

What you'll do

Load finished goods using manual material handling equipment
Check load is safe and secure
Using scanners
Identify and report any product damage or quality deficiencies
Work closely and in cooperation with the rest of the Day Services and Shift teams
Carry out any other reasonable request and support the colleagues in case of need
To ensure a high level of housekeeping of the working area is maintained throughout the shift
To ensure health & safety rules are adhered to

What you'll need

Must hold a valid PPT licesnse

Previous experience of working in a warehouse environment - 3 months minimum

Candidates will undergo a basic numeracy and literacy test in English to make sure that Sofidel operating systems are understood
