THE ROLE

Sofidel UK has a rare and exciting opportunity for a passionate and forward-thinking sales professional to join our high-performing Away-From-Home team as a Regional Sales Manager. This permanent, full-time role is homebased, covering Scotland and the North of England, with regular travel to meet clients across your region and occasional visits to our office in Leicester. To succeed in this role, you’ll be ideally located within easy reach of your territory. As a Regional Sales Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving growth, strengthening existing client relationships, and expanding our customer base. You’ll represent Sofidel’s innovative and sustainable Away-From-Home products — including our flagship brand Papernet — across a well-established and competitive UK market. We’re looking for a self-motivated, customer-focused individual who thrives on building strong partnerships, spotting opportunities, and delivering results. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Represent Sofidel at key marketing events including trade shows, seminars, and client meetings, championing our brand and solutions

Stay ahead of the competition by understanding market trends and proactively overcoming challenges with both new and existing clients 

Identify and secure new business opportunities, expanding our presence in untapped markets

Analyse market data and sales forecasts to shape and support effective sales strategies

Build strong, lasting relationships with customers, becoming a trusted partner in their success

Collaborate with both internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver seamless customer experiences

Drive sales growth while ensuring the highest standards of product quality and customer care

Work closely with customers to understand their unique needs and demonstrate how Sofidel can help them achieve their goals

Provide regular reports and insights to the Country Sales Manager, highlighting key accounts, new business wins, and potential risks 

ADDITIONAL SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS

What We’re Looking For:

A driven, self-motivated professional with a passion for sales and growth

A proven track record of exceeding sales targets and delivering consistent results

Confident, articulate, and professional communicator who builds trust with ease

Solid experience selling to the corporate sector, with a focus on solution-based selling 

A natural business developer with the ability to identify, pursue, and close new opportunities

Strong background in B2B sales, ideally within competitive or fast-paced industries

Industry knowledge of the paper or hygiene sector is a strong advantage

Educated to degree level, preferably in a related field

Confident in using PowerPoint, Excel and Salesforce
