Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor this role provides critical logistical support to the Supply Chain function. Based at our Rothley site the successful candidate for this role will work in collaboration with the wider Warehouse team to ensure effective delivery of shunting tasks whilst maintaining relevent safety guidelines across the Plant.


Job Specification


Monday - Friday 14:00 - 22:00 

Hourly rate: 




Main responsibilities will include:

  • Move and organise empty and full trailers within the site
  • Drop empty trailers to the loading bay and swap them when loaded
  • Conduct daily inspections of vehicles and report any damages or issues to the line manager
  • Observe and report equipment or mechanical failures immediately
  • Ensure all required work documentation is accurately complete
  • Maintain the equipment guaranteeing the daily functioning in line with the work instructions
  • Work closely and in collaboration with the wider warehouse team
  • Ensure a high level of housekeeping of the working area is maintained throughout the shift 
  • Ensure health & safety rules are adhered to
  • Carry out any other reasonable request and support the colleagues 

Job Specific Skills and Experience/Qualifications:

Essential Criteria: 

  • HGV Class 1 license with at least 1 years expierence 
  • Ability to work effectively as a team 
  • Heath and Safety conscious 


  • Valid FLT counter-balance 
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing sector
