PURPOSE

To manage the mechanical, electrical and automation maintenance team in order to guarantee reliability and uptime of equipment and machinery, directly impacting the site productivity and operational efficiency in accordance with safety standard and the Group’s procedures and guidelines.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervises the execution of the  maintenance day-by-day tasks keeping equipment and machinery in a good work condition
  • Acts on behalf of PM Maintenance Manager in case of absence
  • Develops an efficient preventive and predictive maintenance plan and oversees its timely execution to ensure the continuous operations and the compliance with safety and environmental regulations and ISO standards 
  • Liaises daily with the production dept in order to fulfill the operations performance of the referent production site.
  • Guarantees the conduct of regular inspections to identify potential issue or damage or safety hazards
  • Guarantees the execution of immediate repairs of equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime and production interruption
  • Leads the mechanical, electrical and automation maintenance team assigning tasks, providing guidance and monitoring the results
  • Maintains detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment performance and expenses 
  • Oversees repairs and troubleshooting activities to address promptly equipment malfunctions or failures
  • Collaborates with other depts and management team to communicate the maintenance needs and updates  
  • Supervises the coordination of external vendors or contractors  for specialized maintenance services
  • Manages and oversees the maintenance services and spare parts purchasing process in line with group procedures
  • Supports the line manager in drafting and monitoring the maintenance budget
  • Supports the line manager in managing the improvement and investment projects 
  • Responsible for the collaborators’ integration, professional growth, valorisation and motivation 

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION

  • You have previous experience, at least 2 years, in FMCG industry operating, in a maintenance/operative environment
  • You have a Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Automation Engineering or related field
  • You have knowledge of people management and principal aspects of safety and quality
  • You are an active communicator and a good listener  and a troubleshooter, using continuous improvement methodologies ( root cause analysis, LEAN)
  • You have an open mindset in a busy production environment
  • You have basic knowledge of fundamentals of predictive and preventive maintenance
