PURPOSE

To manage the administrative flow of the Group purchasing process for all the macro-categories, with the exception of transport services, pallets, marketing and publicity, in accordance with the set guidelines and procedures.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To register on the system and guarantee updating and maintenance of the
    Group's framework contracts
  • To register on the system the purchasing orders for all the expense/cost items of the Group Purchasing Department
  • To perform the operations to ensure proper management and monitoring of the supplier pre-qualification and qualification process
  • To carry out the operations relating to evaluation of the suppliers' compliance with the product safety and Reach legislation
  • To guarantee availability of all the necessary reports relating to the flow concerned
  • To check compliance with the procedures and guidelines relating to the purchasing process, using the authorised instruments and methods for monitoring and control
  • To carry out negotiating activities following Line Manager’s request
  • To assist the colleagues of the Group Purchasing Department in the execution of activities
  • To promote a corporate culture based on safety
  • To apply the corporate principles and values

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor Degree or high school Diploma (if with previous experience in Purchasing).
  • Fluent level of English
  • Advanced Knowledge of Office Package, Preferable Knowledge of ERP SAP.
  • Good communicational and organizational skills.
  • Goals oriented thinking.
  • Problem solving and self-control and stress management skills.
  • Ability to work in Team.
  • Negotiation capability.
