Position Overview
Sofidel, a leading global manufacturer of tissue paper for hygienic and domestic use, is seeking an HR Generalist with strong decision-making skills, a deep understanding of employee relationships, staffing management and training to join our team in the ____________ office. This position is responsible for implementing a range of HR duties including recruitment, on-boarding, training and development, records management, employee relations and retention, reporting, performance and management.
Job Responsibilities
To ensure success, HR Generalists should exhibit strong decision-making skills with a deep understanding of employee relationships, staffing management and training.
- Support Sofidel America’s Good Manufacturing Practices and HACCP to promote a safe, sanitary and hygienically sound workplace.
- Use established social media, job boards, internet sourcing, and other technical means to source, screen, interview and hire qualified candidates for open positions.
- Participate in career / job fairs and recruitment events.
- Coordinate and participate in employee orientation and onboarding programs.
- Collect data and compile reports, monitor turnover, and exit interviewing.
- Maintain employee personnel documents, benefit records, and required legal documents.
- Process unemployment paperwork and communication per requirements, maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Coach and counsel management and employees in the interpretation and application of HR and organization policies and procedures ensuring fairness and consistency.
- Assist in the implementation of training programs.
- Administer various HR plans and procedures for company personnel.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or relevant field and at least 3 years of human resource experience required; or equivalent work experience.
- Strong background in all HR functions including onboarding, benefits liaison, recruiting
- Manufacturing experience and HR related professional certifications highly preferred.
- Experience with HRIS, ATS, sourcing and recruitment tools
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Critical thinking, decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Good time-management, planning and organizational skills
- Bi-lingual (Spanish) language skills required
- Ability to build and foster strong collaborative relationships
- Ability to work independently as well as a strong team player
- Travel is required

This position is responsible for implementing a range of HR duties including recruitment, on-boarding, training and development, records management, employee relations and retention, reporting, performance and management.

- Support Sofidel America’s Good Manufacturing Practices and HACCP to promote a safe, sanitary and hygienically sound workplace.
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process using SAP SuccessFactors, including requisition creation, job postings, sourcing candidates through social media, job boards, internet sourcing, employee referrals, and other recruitment channels; screening and interviewing candidates; coordinating the selection process with hiring managers; preparing offers; facilitating pre-employment activities; and coordinating onboarding to ensure positions are filled in a timely manner.
- Participate in career fairs, job fairs, and other recruitment events to attract and engage qualified candidates.
- Coordinate and participate in employee orientation and onboarding programs.

- Manage and maintain compliance with the Maricopa County Travel Reduction Program (TRP), including employee surveys, required reporting, recordkeeping, communications, and annual program submissions. Previous experience administering the Maricopa County TRP process is strongly preferred.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or relevant field and at least 3 years of human resource experience required; or equivalent work experience.
- Strong background in all HR functions including onboarding, benefits liaison, recruiting
